My Books at The Robin in REO Town

 

It is always a beautiful day in the REO Town neighborhood at:

At my author talk at The Robin in spring 2022, it was a delight to see friends Beth, Katusha, and fellow author Mickey Hadick and his wife Mary and to meet some new folks, including fantasy fan Gary Jenkins and a guy in a sweet cowboy hat. I even got to meet the genius behind Lansing Facts. I also met dogs, so many dogs, and there was a lady walking a bunny in a little red wagon. The Robin's owner, Mr. Dylan Rogers (who took the photo above) wore an incredibly lifelike antique cicada pin on his jacket, which he bought from nearby jewelry shop Jean Jean Vintage, another local small business treasure.

I absolutely spent most of the day's book sale earnings inside The Robin Books and its next door neighbor Wheel House Studio. Then my husband came by and took me out to Sleepwalker a couple doors down for pizza, beer, and chocolate cake. At the end of the day, I did not come home richer in the bank, but I regret nothing.
